There will be mud – and maybe poems.
This is the blog of UK poet Ruth Wiggins. Ruth is based in London but enjoys hitting the trails as often as she can. Her poems have appeared most recently in Poetry, Poetry Review, Perverse, Blackbox Manifold, Strix, Route 57 and The Stinging Fly. Her pamphlet Myrtle is published by the Emma Press: http://theemmapress.com/books/the-emma-press-poetry-pamphlets/myrtle/ It was described by Deryn Rees-Jones as ‘Elegant, unafraid, and full of the joys and pains of being alive’.
Her collection, a handful of string, is published by Paekakariki, a selection from which can be listened to here: https://www.mixcloud.com/Wiggs66/a-handful-of-string-launch-podcast-150520/
